Why does REIREI process personal data?

According to the EU Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), REIREI is responsible for how the information you provide when participating in a a Giveaway is processed. 

In order to run a Giveaway, REIREI needs to process the personal information you provide to us when you participate in a Giveaway. We need e.g. be able to notify the winner or winners of the prize and send out the prize. We may also publish the names of the winners on our website and in social media. When you participate in a Giveaway, you agree that we use your contact information to send information about upcoming Giveaways, our products and market information. You can unsubscribe from our mailings at any time or withdraw your consent.

The information is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in conducting and marketing our business.

If you have signed up / agreed to receive information from us about upcoming Giveaways, our products and market information, we will use your contact information to send such information. You can unsubscribe from our mailings at any time or withdraw your consent.


Who does REIREI share personal information with?

We may share your personal information as follows.

(i) To our suppliers - which enables us to conduct a Giveaway (including support and storage of data).

(ii) Social media - if you win a Giveaway, we may publish your information on social media.

We recommend that you take part in information about how these social media processes personal data.We never resell your personal information to third parties.
 

Transfer of your data outside the EEA

If we transfer your personal data from an area within the European Economic Area (EEA) to an area outside the EEA, we may need to take specific additional measures to protect the personal data in question. Some countries outside the EEA have been considered by the European Commission to offer substantially equivalent protection of personal data as the protection achieved by the data protection legislation in force within the EEA, and then no additional security measures are required to transfer personal data to these jurisdictions. For transfers to countries that have not received this approval, we will apply appropriate security measures to protect the personal data that will be transferred using, for example, the standard contract clauses approved by the European Commission or binding corporate rules, in accordance with applicable legal requirements.


How long is the personal data stored?

We save the personal information needed in connection with the implementation of competitions until winners have been announced and, where applicable, published and for two (2) years thereafter.

If you have agreed to receive information from us, we will store the information for this purpose until you revoke your consent or have been inactive for twelve (12) months.

After completing the subscription, the address is saved to ensure that you are not reactivated without you taking the initiative to do so.

Your personal data may also be stored to safeguard REIREI’s legal interests or to fulfill legal obligations. After that, your personal information will be deleted.
 

Your rights

Access
You can contact us and ask if we process your personal data. If this is the case, you can request a copy of the personal data. REIREI shall, in its capacity as personal data controller, provide you with a free copy of the personal data that is processed. In the event of any additional copies, REIREI may charge an administration fee.

Correction, supplementation and limitation of treatment
You can request that we correct and supplement your personal data and request that we limit the processing of your personal data while we assess a request from you.

Deletion
Under certain conditions, we may be obliged to delete your personal data at your request.

Objection
You can object to any type of processing of personal data that we perform on the basis of a “legitimate interest” or a “public interest”, unless our interest in processing outweighs your interests, rights and freedoms. You can object to direct marketing (including profiling for such purposes) at any time.

Data portability
You can ask us to electronically transfer any of your personal information that you have provided to us and that we still hold, to an outside party.

Withdraw consent
Furthermore, you have the right to revoke your consent in cases where the processing of personal data is based solely on this. In that case, however, the legality is not affected by the treatment that has taken place before
